Our mission is to help you retire with confidence and live the good life in your golden years. We know that retirement planning should be personalized, comprehensive, and effective, and we're here to make that happen for you.
Our mission is simple: We are here to help you secure the Medicare benefits that are rightfully yours. Our process is a blend of personal attention and professional expertise. It all starts with a phone call, where we gather essential information about your doctors, medications, and more. We then schedule a follow-up appointment to delve deeper into your specific needs. Following this, we conduct a thorough 'differential diagnosis' style review with our expert team, akin to doctors consulting on a patient's care. This ensures we recommend the most suitable plan that caters to your unique requirements. Finally, we present the recommended plan to you. If it aligns with your needs and you're satisfied, we proceed with enrollment. However, if your current plan is still the best fit, we'll confirm this, providing reassurance that your existing strategy is indeed the best one for your current situation. With Retire.Plus, you're not just getting a broker – you're gaining a dedicated partner committed to your health and well being.
01
Introduction Call
We kick things off with a friendly call to introduce ourselves. During this call, we aim to gather available information such as details about your doctors, medications, and any additional information as needed.
02
If more information is needed to fully understand your situation and requirements, we schedule a follow-up appointment. If we have all the necessary information, we proceed directly to step 3, the Expert Review.
03
Our team conducts a collaborative review, like a medical 'differential diagnosis', to recommend the most suitable plan for you.
04
Finally, we present the proposed plan. If it's a perfect fit, we move forward with enrollment. If your existing plan still works best, we reassure you that your current strategy is ideal for your situation.

If you're currently enrolled in Medicare Supplement Plan F, you might be overpaying for benefits that you could get for less with Plan G. In this blog post, we'll explore why Plan G might be a better option and why it's crucial to shop around for the best prices on Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs) and Medicare Supplements (Med Supps). For context, the Medicare Part B deductible in 2023 is $203.
Medicare Supplement Plan F has been a popular choice for many, but it comes with a higher price tag. Plan G, on the other hand, offers almost identical coverage but at a generally lower monthly premium. The primary difference is that Plan G doesn't cover the Medicare Part B deductible. However, the money you save on premiums often outweighs this cost. Additionally, Plan G covers certain foreign travel emergencies, a benefit not available in Plan F.
When it comes to PDPs, it's essential to remember that all plans are standardized. This means they must cover the same range of medications. Therefore, shopping around for the lowest monthly premium can save you a significant amount of money without sacrificing the quality of your coverage.
Like PDPs, Med Supps are also standardized. Whether you choose Plan G from Carrier A or Carrier B, the coverage will be the same. The only difference will be the monthly premium. Shopping around can help you find the best deal for the same set of benefits.
There are various ways to compare PDPs and Med Supps. You can use the Medicare Plan Finder tool, work with a licensed insurance broker, or contact Medicare directly to find the best plan for your needs.
Switching from Plan F to Plan G could save you money. The benefits are nearly identical, but Plan G usually comes with a lower monthly premium.
All PDPs and Med Supps are standardized. This means you should focus on finding the lowest monthly premium for the same set of benefits.
Always shop around. Whether it's for a PDP or a Med Supp, shopping around can save you a significant amount of money.
Understanding your needs and shopping around are crucial steps in finding the best Medicare plan for your budget. With the Medicare Part B deductible set at $203 for 2023, and the added benefit of foreign travel emergency coverage in Plan G, it's worth considering a switch. Remember, if you're enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, you typically don't need a separate PDP as most Medicare Advantage plans include prescription drug coverage.
